Northern: Prof. Kmar Ben ismail-Lattrache, Université El Manar, Tunisia
Southern: Prof. Moctar Doucoure, Africa Earth Observatory Network - Earth Stewardship Science Research Institute, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa
Eastern: Prof. Asfawossen Asrat, University of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Western: Prof. El Hadji Sow, University Check Anta Diop, Senegal, (Francophone countries)
Prof. Tijani Moshood, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, (Anglophone countries)
Central: Dr. Joseph Victor Hell from the Institute for Geological and Mining Research, Yaoundé, Cameroon

The current members of the Executive Board of ANESI are holding office in the interim. Comprehensive elections will be held at the Colloquium of African Geology (CAG-26) in November 2016 in Nigeria.

The Secretariat, provisionally hosted and coordinated by the UNESCO Office in Nairobi, will be responsible for implementing the decisions of the Executive Board and ANESI’s operational activities.
